Household Hazardous Waste
Everyday in our homes we use and discard many products that are very similar to the hazardous wastes produced by business and industry. Products which are corrosive, flammable, reactive, toxic, or pose a threat to the environment are found in almost every room at home.
• Pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides
• Batteries • Mothballs • Paint and paint thinners • Furniture Strippers and Finishing Products • Transmission fluid or antifreeze
• Motor Oil • Solvents and degreasers • Nail polish and polish remover • Oven and drain cleaners • Metal polishes and rust removes • Misc. cleaners such as rug and upholstery • All purpose cleaners and scouring powders
• Tires without rims (max of 4 tires per vehicle)
* Collection size is limited to 5 gallons for liquids and 40 pounds for solid materials
Electronic Waste
Electronic waste or e-waste describes discarded electrical or electronic devices. Used electronics which are destined for reuse, resale, salvage, recycling, or disposal are also considered e-waste. Electronic scrap components such as CPUs, contain potentially harmful materials such as lead, cadmium, ber yllium, or brominated flame retardants from landfills or incinerator ashes.

Document Desctruction
The most common way confidential information gets in the wrong hands is when it’s not handled appropriately. Secure document destruction ensures all paper is destroyed and recycled securely.
