Household Hazardous Waste

Everyday in our homes we use and discard many products that are very similar to the hazardous wastes produced by business and industry. Products which are corrosive, flammable, reactive, toxic, or pose a threat to the environment are found in almost every room at home.

* Collection size is limited to 5 gallons for liquids and 40 pounds for solid materials.

Electronic Waste

Electronic waste or e-waste describes discarded electrical or electronic devices. Used electronics which are destined for reuse, resale, salvage, recycling, or disposal are also considered e-waste. Electronic scrap components such as CPUs, contain potentially harmful materials such as lead, cadmium, ber yllium, or brominated flame retardants from landfills or incinerator ashes.
